Job description

Rényi Institute is seeking Machine Learning Engineers to join our AI Research & Development team. The ideal candidate has experience as a developer working on a range of problems. The position will involve taking these skills and applying them in exciting ML problems.

Minimum Qualifications

  • BS, MS or Ph.D. degree in Computer Science or related field
  • 1 year of experience developing machine learning algorithms
  • 1 year of experience with deep learning frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, Jax or similar)
  • Strong Python programming skills
  • The candidate must possess independent problem-solving skills, capable of identifying and resolving tasks autonomously or as part of a team, without the need for constant guidance

Preferred Qualifications

  • MLOps experience (especially in cloud environments)
  • Industry experience working on ML solutions

The AI Research & Development group at the Alfréd Rényi Institute of Mathematics is one of the most successful machine learning research groups in Hungary, with accepted publications at some of the most competitive AI conferences. Our team simultaneously works on Deep Learning research problems and applied projects.
